A goldsmith, who previously worked as an ornament-maker at a renowned jewellery shop in Sakchi, has absconded with gold worth Rs nine lakhs. Adding to the distress, when the jeweller attempted to locate the goldsmith by approaching his family, they resorted to threatening the victim, insisting on implicating him in a suicide case. As a result of this harrowing situation, Pramod Kumar Bera, the unfortunate jeweller who runs a small jewellery shop at Handi Line in Sakchi market, has lodged a complaint with the Sakchi police seeking resolution to the issue.

The incident unfolded when the goldsmith, whose identity remains undisclosed, vanished with approximately Rs nine lakhs worth of gold. He was previously employed as an ornament-maker at a prominent jewellery store in Sakchi, where he was entrusted with crafting gold ornaments. Taking advantage of his position, the goldsmith allegedly absconded with the valuable gold, leaving the jeweller in a state of disbelief and financial turmoil.

Upon discovering the theft, the jeweller, Pramod Kumar Bera, initiated efforts to locate the absconding goldsmith. However, his attempts took an alarming turn when he reached out to the goldsmith's family. Instead of cooperating or assisting in the search, the family members resorted to issuing threats, asserting their intention to falsely implicate the victim in a suicide case. This shocking turn of events left Bera distressed and in urgent need of legal intervention.

In light of the distressing circumstances, Pramod Kumar Bera approached the Sakchi police to seek justice and resolution. Providing a detailed account of the incident, Bera expressed his hope that law enforcement would take swift action to recover the stolen gold and bring the culprits to justice.

By making ornaments for the big jewellery shops, Bera would get Rs 5,000 for 100 grams of ornaments and he would get the jobs done with his staff Dinesh Kumar.

The local police have assured Bera of a thorough investigation into the matter. They have registered a case of theft against the absconding goldsmith and will initiate efforts to locate and apprehend him. Furthermore, the police will address the threats issued by the goldsmith's family, ensuring the safety and security of Pramod Kumar Bera.

The incident has sent shockwaves through the local jewellery market, as concerns regarding security and trust are raised among both jewellers and customers. Stakeholders in the industry are urging authorities to strengthen security measures and enforce stricter regulations to safeguard against such incidents in the future.

Pramod Kumar Bera, the victim of this unfortunate situation, is now relying on the authorities' swift action to recover the stolen gold and restore justice. The entire community awaits updates on the investigation, hoping for a favorable outcome that will help restore trust and confidence in the local jewellery trade.
