Additional secretary of health department of Government of India Sanjeev inspected the under construction medical college cum hospital of Hazaribagh on Tuesday. Additional secretary was leading the team of officials comprising Dr lalit Kumar Pathak of national health mission, Deputy director BN Chaudhary and members of engineering cell of health department of Jharkhand Government.
DC Ravishankar Shukla informed about the progress of work while the officials of the agency constructing the college cum hospital helped the members in identifying different spots of the proposed building during site visit. The officials of the construction company raised the matter of presence of some trees at the construction site which are disturbing the work. The visiting team directed the district officials to talk with the forest officials on this issue so that construction work should be completed within given time frame.
The visiting team also inspected the trauma centre constructed within sadar hospital premises and talked with the officials about the problems in the path of its being operational. Additional secretary Sanjeev assured that he will talk with State health secretary on this issue and hoped that this trauma center will become operational soon.
