An 18 year old tribal girl, hailing from Redalbera village (Palamu) in Nawadih block of the district, has accused a 30 year- old youth Minaj Ansari son of Mumtaz Ansari of Barwabera village under Bokaro Thermal police station of allegedly raping her after promising marriage. Here on Sunday police has sent her for medical test for further action, said Inspector cum Officer-in charge of PS, Rajesh Kujur.
In her complaint to the Bokaro Thermal police station here on Saturday night, the girl has alleged that Minaj Ansari befriended her few week ago and developed physical relations with here at SDT-4/10 Bokaro Thermal on promise of marrying here on March 20. She has alleged that he refused to keep up his promise on March 25 and his friend identified as Md Dauad who dropped her near Pilpillo forest area on a motorcycle.
Following which she decided to lodge a complaint against him at Bokaro Thermal police station. According to the victim, the accused Minaj Ansari, a local youth of Barwabera village got in touch with her when she was working as loader at Konar project local sell near CCl, Khasmahal and brought her to Bokaro Thermal staff hostel. She alleged that he developed physical relations with her on the promise of marrying her soon. "My parents took me to the Gandhi Nagar police station to lodge FIR against the accused first. But O/C of Gandhi Nagar PS turned me back to go to Bokaro Thermal PS to file FIR," she said.
While the local police inspector cum Officer-in charge Rajesh Kujur came into action and lodged a case under the various action including 376 of IPC against Minaj Ansari and started its investigation as well as the girl’s statement has been recorded and sent her for medical examination. However the accused was not arrested when last reports were complied.
