Expressing concern over the recent instances of garlanding the photograph of former President APJ Abdul Kalam by State HRD Minister Neera Yadav and corruption charges levelled against Personal Assistant of Health Minister Ramchandra Chandravanshi, leader of Opposition Hemant Soren has written an open letter to Chief Minister Raghubar Das seeking a reply on action taken in this regard.
Soren in his letter has also questioned the ability of HRD Minister and asked the CM to
get her credentials investigated by an independent agency to remove any doubts being raised by the people of this State.
Yadav on Tuesday paid floral tributes to former President APJ Abdul Kalam during a programme in Kodarma which, according to Hindu tradition, is generally done to pay respect to a person after his death.
It is considered inauspicious to do it while someone is alive.
Soren also targeted Urban Development Minister CP Singh on his recent remark made on the previous Governments that not a single work has been done in the last 14 years, stated that it was a direct attack on the the CM himself, who had been the Urban Development Minister during the first four years after the State came into being. Soren questioned whether Singh has any doubts on the working of the CM himself.
