Garhwa district has earned the top position in the Delta Rankings of Aspirational Districts for both January and February 2025, as released by NITI Aayog. On this notable achievement, Deputy Commissioner Dinesh Kumar Yadav extended congratulations and best wishes to all residents and members of the district administration.
According to Yadav, Garhwa’s consistent performance among the 112 aspirational districts nationwide is the result of strong administrative dedication, seamless departmental coordination, effective execution of government schemes, and active community involvement.
He highlighted the district administration’s continued efforts across key sectors such as healthcare, education, nutrition, agriculture, infrastructure, and financial inclusion. He noted that the enthusiastic participation of local communities, along with close cooperation among panchayats and various departments, played a crucial role in securing this recognition.
This achievement, he said, is a reflection of the combined efforts and commitment of Garhwa’s governance system, its dedicated officials and staff, elected representatives, and engaged citizens. It not only marks a moment of pride for the district but is expected to provide fresh momentum to its development journey.
For maintaining the highest rank for two straight months, Garhwa will also receive a performance incentive, which will be utilized to further accelerate development initiatives across the district.
The Deputy Commissioner, along with the Deputy Development Commissioner, PPIA Fellow from NITI Aayog, and the entire district administration, stated that this recognition is a matter of pride not just for Garhwa but for the entire state of Jharkhand.
