The surprise raid made by SP Anoop Birthare and SDO Aditya Ranjan in JP Central jail 2-3 days ago and the recovery of mobile phones, SIM and chargers from the ward has now started yielding results.
As per the order of State headquarter, three gangsters who were in JP central jail Hazaribagh till now were shifted to other jails of the State. The three gangsters belonging to Palamau are Sujit Sinha, transferred to Giridih jail, Dabloo Singh, shifted to Deoghar jail and Vikash Dubey, who has been shifted to Ghaghidih jail Jamshedpur. In last two months this was the third shifting done from JP central jail to other jails of the State.
SP Anoop Birthare and SDO Aditya Ranjan had found banned items in their second attempt made within 24 hours time because they have got concrete information that the gangsters are running their gang from behind the bars and are extorting money from their areas.
During this surprise raid a smart phone was recovered from gangster Sujit Sinha while chargers and SIMs were recovered from the wards of Dabloo Singh and Vikash Dubey. After tracing the data record of SIMs it became clear that these gangsters were in constant touch with the other members of their gang who are outside.
Few months ago the State headquarter had issued shifting orders of gangster Anil Sharma to Dumka Jail and gangster Vikash Tiwari to Medninagar jail on the same concerns. They were kept in the Anda cell of JP central jail for last many years.
