The last rituals of BJP leader Pankaj Gupta was performed at the river bank of Baxo in lohardaga on Monday. The district treasury head of BJP Pankaj Gupta was brutally murdered on Sunday morning near Nagri Ranchi.
Many people of several political and socila organisations expressed grief and visitited his kin. Union Minister Sudarshan Bhagat, BJP leader Om Prakash Singh, Chairman of Mati Kala Borad Srichand Prajapati, MlA Sukhdeo Bhagat, ex MP Dheeraj Prasad Sahu, 20 points programme vice chairman Rakesh Prasad, BJP District head Raj Mohan Ram, Rajesh Mahto, Chandrashekhar Agarwal, Shashi Gupta, Raj Kumar Verma, Naren Raj, lokesh Keshri and many others expressed their condolence.
State BJP President laxman Gilua, Sports Minister Amar Bawri, Gumla MlA Shiv Shankar Oraon, BJP’s Rajya Sabha nominee Sameer Oraon, Om Singh, DC Vinod Kumar, Raj Kumar Mahto, BJP district head Rajmohan Ram, reached to the home of late Pankaj Gupta and consoled the grief stricken family. They promised to provide all possible helps to the family.
Gupta is survived by his wife and two sons Satya and Sargam behind him. Satya has completed his mass communication course recently working in National University. The younger son is an engineer in Ramgarh. Pankaj was the elder son of Devnarayan Gupta among two brothers and four sisters. Pankaj had been serving in BJP for last two and half decades. Notably he had been murdered on Sunday near Ramlal sweet Piska Nagri. He had gone for fencing work of his land.
