One day free Mega Medical Camp was organized by the CSR Department of Bokaro Steel Plant at Uttrit Middle School, Agardih. In this camp, Pediatrician Dr. Nitendra Kumar, Gynecologist Dr. Amrita Pritam, Dr. Hema, General Physician Dr. Santosh Choubey, Dr. Kapil, Dentist Dr. Neelam Kumari, Ophthalmologist Dr. Sushil Kumar, Dr. Pranay Kumar and Mr. Sanjeev Kumar Sinha and Pharmacist Mithlesh Kumar were present. A total of 229 patients were treated in the camp and 25 patients were identified and referred to BGH for cataract surgery. It is noteworthy that apart from blood tests, other tests and medicines were also distributed free of cost during the camp. Apart from this, acupressure therapist RK Dutta treated 48 patients and advised them to come to Sarva Swasthya Kendra, Sector 5 for regular treatment.

In the successful organization of the camp notably participation of Ashok Kumar, (Assistant Manager) CSR Department, Suraj Chandra Tiwari, Gaurav Mishra and Santosh Kumar including Piramal Swasthya Mobile Medical Unit team played significant roles . The camp was organized under the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence on the occasion of completion of 75 years of independence.
