One-day free checkup for knee joint pains will be held in Prakash Chand Jain Sewa Sadan here on March 29. Stating this the Sewa Sadan chief Suresh Jain said a team of four doctors was arriving from a multi speciality hospital of Ahmedabad here for this. The Sewa Sadan has fixed a target of 200 such check ups. It will be all free and if the visiting four or any of the doctors suggest x raying this too will be all free stated Jain. A noted ortho surgeon of Palamu Arun Shukla was also giving co operation, added Jain.
The civil surgeon of Palamu, Vijay K Singh said he would get this well advertised in his health centres too for affected people to take advantage of this facility. Jain said efforts were on to tie-up with Medanta for cardiac facility here but no tangible result has come out so far.
It took nearly 12 weeks time to arrange this knee joint pain check up here from the doctors of Ahemedabad. The doctors who are expected to be here are BK Singh, Akur Singhal, Nagpal Singh and Bharat Gajjar.
The free checkup is to start at 10 on March 29. The sewa sadan here has born the travelling and other expenses of these doctors for their only back Ahmedabad journey. Till date more than two dozen visitors have registered. Arun Shukla’s clinic too has been made the registration point for this. A senior member of the sewa sadan Kamesh is overseeing this coming event here.
