Tightening the noose around illegal sand smugglers Garhwa police seized four illegal sand-laden tractors at Bisunpura. OC Karuna Shankar Dubey said that acting on the information of illegal mining police raided at Jogiral sand band at Banki river and seized illegal sand laden four tractors.
He again said that information has been given to the mining department for legal action. Dubey accepted that there was constant information that the sand was being illegally lifted from different rivers of this PS area. Continuous campaign would be launched against illegal sand movement in the area.
Other hand mining department has also seized a illegal stone laden hyva truck near Makari village under Bhawnathpur Police Station, on Today.
Department also arrested driver and lodged FIR against three persons in the connection.
