In a road mishap two forest officials were killed and another injured when the two bikes the victims were riding hit at Nimdih Mode in Raghunathpur on NH-32 under adjoining Seraikela-Kharsawan district.
One of the victims identified as Chandreswar Singh (56) was killed on the spot, when two others were injured, one of them fatally. The injured were rushed to Tata Main Hospital emergency where the one succumbed to his injury.
According to police, the one succumbed to injury was identified as Krishna Prasad (58), forest range officer of Chandil forest Territory. The injured who is admitted at the Tata Main Hospital was identified as Shibram Gorai (22), a resident of Nimidih.
Officer-in-charge, Nimdih police station, TP Kushbah said that the forest range officer and the forester were coming from Nimidih toward Chandil and at Nimdih More, a bike which was on a high speed dashed the bike. The incident took place in the afternoon while the range officer was returning to his post at Chandil having visited a site under the foothills of Dalma hills.
