The PACT (Police and Chamber Together) started by the Federation of Jharkhand Chamber of Commerce and Industries in the year 2008 was re-introduced today by the Law and Order Sub Committee. During this, the law and order sub-committee will also appoint convenors at the police station level. Chairman Praveen Lohia said that the members would be connected and conveners would be appointed by forming a WhatsApp group at each police station level to solve the area-wise problems.
With this, the information of any suspicious activities will be received in time to the concerned police station area, which will help in controlling the incidents. The station in-charge will also get a lot of help from this. Soon, in coordination with the Chamber of Commerce of all the districts and allied institutions, efforts will be made to review and resolve the law and order situation by organizing zonal meetings with the police administration across the state.
He also said that a committee is being formed by the chamber at the police station level only for the purpose of providing a quick solution to the problems of the traders of the concerned police station area as well as to maintain a safe environment in the entire area.
Chamber President Kishor Mantri said that it is often seen that traders feel hesitant to come to the police station. By constituting a committee at the police station level and holding regular meetings of the police professional, it is often possible to solve the problems. Chamber President Kishor Mantri, Vice President Aditya Malhotra, Amit Sharma, Treasurer Sunil Kedia, Former Vice President Pratul Shahdev, Spokesperson Jyoti Kumari, Shravan Kumar, Kishan Agarwal, and many other members were present on the occasion
