A five-day long police public friendship tournament was organised by Kranti Yuva Club Nava Toli. On the occasion of final match SP Mrityunjay Kumar was present as chief guest. He said, “Sports is as important as education in life. The youth should come in police services to serve the nation. There are so many vacancies in police force and the youth of lohardaga seem interested to join the services. This is a satisfactory symbol for the district.”
“Some people had been misled and adopted violence. But this is not the solution of any problem. They should come back to mainstream and take the advantages of surrender policy,” the SP added.
The district police are providing education to the 27 poor students at its own expenditure. The police would help them concluded the SP. On the occasion the SP also distributed jerseys, football and sweets to the winner and co-winner of boys and girls team under social policing.
