Fire broke out in room of official of the Prakash Chand Jain Sewa Sadan in Daltonganj on Tuesday evening.
Sources said a short circuit could have led to this outbreak of fire. Fire tenders reached the Sewa Sadan and controlled the fire from spreading into any other room. Police team also reached. Police controlled the crowd of people that gathered there to inquire about the welfare of the indoor patients there. According to Suresh Jain who is the chieftain of this sewa sadan patients, infants and attendants are all very safe. There is no problem for any of them. Jain said the fire has been doused. Assessment of damages would be done now. This sewa sadan is primarily a maternity hospital wherein orthopaedic cases are also taken care of. The room in which the fire broke out is of the sewa sadan's pharmacist K K Ojha.
