Ichak police has lodged an FIR no 137/16 under section 376, 120B and 34 against a named and some unnamed persons on the petition given by a woman of Jawarkhurd village of Barhi police station.
In her petition the woman has written she was to appear before the court in a case lodged by her husband. She had reached Hazaribagh in the morning from Chatra. After appearing in the court she came out of the court campus and suddenly two persons came on a motorcycle and forcibly took her on their bike.
“They took me to lunduru village which comes under Ichak PS via Jhuda road and raped her in an underconstruction building which was in a lonely place. One of the accused, introduced himself as Samar Mahto and said that her mother-in-law had given they Rs 2 lakh to kill her," she said.
The woman who is presently living in village Saivalkarma of Mayurhand police station of Chatra district with her parents has written in her FIR petition that due to dispute with her husband and his family members she is living in Chatra. In her petition she had also written that the accused has threatened her to not disclose the incident to anyone otherwise they will kill their parents.
Police have lodged FIR and started investigation.
