An FIR has been lodged in the SC/ST Police Station of Hazaribagh Sadar as per the direction of court’s order on the petition of student’s leader Vishal Kumar Valmiki. The Central Committee President of Jharkhand Vikash Chhatra Morcha Valmiki has alleged the Vice Chancellor and Registrar of Vinoba Bhave University Prof. Gurdeep Singh and Dr. Subodh Kumar Sinha respectively along with Dr. Rekha Rani, the Principal of KB Women’s College, Hazaribagh, that they have not only harassed and abused him quoting his caste.
The incident took place few months ago when Valmiki was leading agitated students of VBU in Hazaribagh. When his FIR was not taken by the police he went to court of law and after hearing his plea the court ordered to lodge his FIR. Police has lodged FIR against all three under sections 341, 323, 504, 506, 3 and SC/ST Act.
