Ramkanda Block Development Officer Ramji Verma has proceeded to lodge FIR in Ramkunda police station against 20 defaulting beneficiaries of the Prime Minister’s housing scheme.
The 20 beneficiaries of five panchayats under Ramkanda block were provided the first, second and third installment amount to make the prime minister's residence in the financial year 2016-17. Despite this, some beneficiaries did not start the construction work by taking the amount of the first installment.
While some beneficiaries began constructing housing with the amount, they did not complete the construction work. Even after giving instructions to these beneficiaries, the construction work has not started. After this, the BDO decided to file an FIR.
