The financial advisor of Vinoba Bhave University MA Ansari has resigned from his post.
On Saturday he sent his resignation letter to the Chancellor’s office by speed post and in the evening gave a copy of it to the Vice -Chancellor’s office. On Saturday the university officials refused to confirm this news but in late evening Ansari himself confirmed it when contacted on phone.
Though the Financial Advisor refused to say anything about his cause of resignation but according to our university sources it all happened due to continuing conflict between VC and FA which crossed its limit on Friday in the meeting of finance committee.
In that meeting FA opposed some proposals because in his opinion the proposals were incomplete. When FA refused to give his approval then VC became angry and used some unconstitutional words which hurt Ansari.
He came out of the meeting room and sat in his chamber where some university officials came and tried their best to solve the dispute.
On phone FA said that I have written everything in my resignation letter. An official said to The Pioneer that the present VC often loses his temper and at that time the words used by him becomes intolerable. Perhaps FA has resigned due to the words used by VC in the meeting of finance committee.
According to sources in his resignation letter FA has written about the dictatorial attitude of the present Vice Chancellor and his increasing attitude of getting works done without caring any law or act. Ansari had joined VBU on April 1 2014 when the Chancellor Office had given him the extra charge of this university along with his usual assignment as FA of Ranchi University.
