Several cases of diversion of tribal land are under investigation by an SIT set up by the Government. later BJP chief whip Radha Krishna Kishore also supported the proposal.

Meanwhile, Jharkhand Vikas Morcha on Tuesday staged a dharna near Jharkhand Assembly demanding CBI inquiry into the custodial death of Rupesh Swansi and the death of Topchanchi Officer in Charge Umesh Kacchap under suspicious circumstances.  The party workers also demanded dismissal of ADG Anurag Gupta who allegedly found involved in horse trading during 2016 Rajya Sabha Elections.
