In the annual conference of Indian Society for the Surgery of the hand at Puri on September 14, Dr. Anant Sinha, Chief Plastic Surgeon of Devkamal Hospital and research centre was awarded the Robert Acland Travelling fellowship on his extraordinary work and training at Heidelberg, Germany.
He received a citation and a grant of Rs 1,00,000 to continue his work and also to improve the hand surgery scenario at Ranchi.
He has been supported by ISSH, to coordinate with the Government and industries of Jharkhand to work on saving the working hand.
