The officials of Food Corporation of India (FCI) conducted a meeting on July 3 focusing on its various ongoing schemes.
Issues ranging like purchasing food grains, food security scheme, quality, procurement of food grains, warehousing were taken up in the meet.
Approximately 2.64 crore people were benefitted through this scheme in 2016-17, out of which 30 lakh were students who were covered under the scheme.
