A fuming father axed to death his 20-year-old son at Manpur village under Amlabad police station in Chandankiyari block of Bokaro district on Monday mid-night. According to the police Bholanath Dhami (55) axed his son Mukul Dhami (20) to death while he was sleeping at home.
The mother of the deceased lodged a FIR at local police station on Tuesday. Bholanath was arrested and sent to jail, said OC of Amlabad police station. According to the villagers, Mukul was a student of B Sc (part-II), doing private tuitions to meet his family needs.
He wants to appear in the interview for the post of Radio Operator in BSF. The interview is scheduled at Hazaribagh and Mukul asked for Rs 2,000 from his father to appear in the interview. Bholanath used to sell tobacco on a road side shop near the village and his financial condition was not good. He had given only Rs 400 to his son for appearing in the interview.
Irked Mukul said Rs 400 is not enough to meet the expenses and he tore the rupees into pieces. Angered over his son’s activity, Bhola axed his son to death when he was sleeping, said P Devi mother of the deceased.
