A farewell ceremony was organised in the main auditorium of the Human Resource Development Center on 31 October for the employees retiring from Bokaro Steel Plant in the month of October. Chief Manager-in-Charge (Town Services) BS Popli was the chief guest on this occasion. Chief General Manager (Personnel) Hari Mohan Jha and General Manager (Personnel) Soni Singh and other officers of Personnel Department were also present during the programme. In the beginning of the function, Senior Manager (APP/Personnel) Dr. Nanda Priyadarshini welcomed the visitors and she gave information related to the final settlement via Maitri Bhawan to the retiring employees and presented the bio-data of each retiring personnel. The Chief Guest BS Popli congratulated the retiring personnel for their sincere service and wished them a happy life. The guests presented service certificates and gifts to the retiring personnel. A total of 07 executives and 40 non-executives are retiring from BSL in the month of October. Dr Nanda Priyadarshini conducted the program.
Besides, a farewell ceremony was also organised separately in the conference room of Director-in-Charge for Chief General Manager level officers, Chief Medical Officer-in-Charge (Medical and Health Services) Dr. Prakash Pandey was given farewell. On this occasion, Executive Director (Works) BK Tiwari and Chief General Managers of various departments were present. During the ceremony, important achievements related to the service of Dr Pandey were remembered. ED Tiwari presented him mementoes and documents related to the final settlement. Everyone wished the retiring Dr Pandey good luck for his future life.
