Fans shower wishes on Dhoni on birthday

Fans and well wishers showered their blessings on MS Dhoni at his hometown on Tuesday. They began gathering from early morning in front of his house ‘Shaurya’ to congratulate him on his 34th birthday till he turned up for a minute or two in his balcony for his fans and thanked them for their greetings.

“I am a great fan of Mahendra Singh Dhoni. I have been following him ever since he became captain of the team. I celebrate his birthday every year in my home but this time he is in Ranchi. So, I have come here to wish him on his birthday,” said Amit, who was standing in front of Dhoni’s house.

Another admirer of Dhoni, Raghuraj Veer said, “I am happy that Dhoni is in  town to celebrate his birthday. As, I have travelled for two days to meet him and present him bouquet on his birthday, I am sure that he will not let me down and accept my greetings.”The gathering of people grew larger with the advancement of day leading to traffic jam. People were standing and clicking photograph of his house. When the situation got out of hand, the local police had to take over the situation. Around two dozen policemen were placed to control the crowd as well as traffic.

This birthday was very special to him as he celebrated it with his daughter Zeeva for the first time. Also, this was the second time when he celebrated his birthday with his family members and friends in the city after his marriage. Earlier this month his wife Sakshi tweeted that it is a month of celebration as on 4th July they celebrated their fifth marriage anniversary.

The birthday was celebrated all around the city by his fans . Kaya Salon celebrated the birthday of their celebrity client Dhoni at their Hariom Tower centre. The 34 pound brown and yellow cake was the centre of attraction. The salon was decorated with white balloons and had Dhoni imprinted on them. The cake was cut by the Jharkhand State Cricket Association president Amitabh Chaudhary. He extended his hearty congratulation to Mahendra Singh Dhoni on his 34th birthday. Dhoni has been a client of Kaya Salon. As Dhoni has turned 34 so they are offering a discount of 34% throughout the month on their entire range of hair and skin care services.

Following the celebration, a radio channel also celebrated the birthday of Indian cricket captain MS Dhoni by organizing a signature camp at Rock Garden, Kanke. The fans expressed their greetings to Dhoni in writing. In addition to that, a fan contest was organized on Big FM. The wishes for Dhoni also came in abundance on social media. BCCI and ICC wished him on his birthday on Twitter. Dhoni’s IPl team and other franchise team of IPl also wished him on this occasion.
