Chainpur police in Palamu nabbed Saddam Hussain alias laddu and recovered Rs 10,000 from his possession which was extortion money. laddu was an accused of an FIR lodged on May 5.
Stating this DSP Surjit Kumar said laddu had demanded Rs 4 lakh from one Nesar. Incidentally laddu and Nesar are relatives added DSP. Nesar has a shop of electricity goods at Teen Kunya More in Daltonganj
Surjit Kumar said laddu was not alone in this crime of extortion. His associate is Himanshu Tiwary but one Rahul Tiwary who lives in the neighbourhood of Himanshui and who holds a dubious character was nabbed on May 9 itself with Rs 20,000 in cash, pistol and cattridge and was remanded in judicial custody since then. Himanshu and Rahul hail from Meroni village in Garhwa district. laddu was caught in Daltonganj’s Sadik Chowk on May 18 added DSP.
Police have recovered two cell phones. Police will take out the call details of these two seized cell phones.
According to Surjit Kumar laddu has confessed to be involved in the shooting of Roshan Dubey on February 14 at Telya Bhabhandi Road. However laddu has told police that in this crime he was not alone but had Ashish Tiwary, Pintu Dubey, and Perween Mishra too who all carried outthis deadly mission of bumping of Roshan Dibey.
Surjit Kumar quoting laddu said this murder of Roshan Dubey was a fall out of gang war and also out of enmity.
