Aimed to help students and parents in getting more information on careers in creative fields, an expert talk session was organised by Pearl Academy at Hotel Capitol Hill in Ranchi on Saturday.
‘Pearl Academy’ is a Noida based higher education institute for Design, Fashion and Creative Businesses courses. The day-long session was conducted by Ankur Kaushik, Fashion Design Expert and Gopal Meena, Interior Architecture & Design Expert from the Academy. The session was attended by the students and their parents who wanted to know more about the dynamics of the design, fashion and creative businesses as an education, career and creative pursuit.
“Expert Talk is our initiative to enlighten the students and their parents about the immense career opportunities available in the domain of design, fashion and creative businesses,” said Nien Siao, Director of Pearl Academy. Students would not only get opportunities to grow in India but also get to work with intellectuals at foreign shores. Through such events, our larger agenda is to combat the lack of information among students and parents enabling them to make an informed and better career choice, she elaborated.
Students also participated in the Pearl Aptitude Test (PAT) and got their Career Potential Profile basis their multiple intelligence after session. “PAT is based on Dr. Howard Gardner’s ‘Theory of Multiple Intelligences’ and assesses applicants’ human cognitive competence”, she added.
