Urban Development Minister CP Singh has expressed hope that investment in the form of urban amenities would come during the Global Investor Summit (GIS). “We have received proposals for MoUs in the tune of `2 lakh crore during the summit. For Ranchi, I am expecting proposals for metro, smart city, sewerage-drainage and solid waste management etc. Huge investment in the field of infrastructure is not possible merely through budgetary allocations,” said the Minister on Wednesday.
