Former State Assembly Speaker CP Singh while stressing on ‘Quality Education’ on Monday said that there is a need to impart modernised form of education through emerging coaching centres in the State capital. He was speaking at the inauguration  ‘IMVEDANT’.

“It is very important to plan on how to develop Ranchi as an Education Hub. For this purpose, coaching centres wherein school and college studies are organized must teach students how to prosper amid the race of competition,” he said being the Chief Guest of this moment. Notably, Singh devoted time for this function by lending some minutes from the ongoing State Assembly session. He seemed annoyed for his presence here and left hurriedly after lighting the inaugural function lamp and unveiling the prospectus of this institute.

Presently, the knowledge centre is probably one-its-kind in Ranchi. Director of the institute Dr S Choubey who has an experience of more than four decades in the field of teaching and was a senior faculty of St Xavier’s College said, “Besides, foundation courses for classes V to XII, we provide coaching for medical-cum-engineering aspirants. In higher education, there are training courses for college goers, MBA aspirants and other professional programmes. We are not merely a tuition centre but a place where students can sort out their career and psychology related problems.” Former Ranchi University Pro-Vice Chancellor Dr VP Sharan was the guest of honor here. He expressed his thoughts on how to shape young minds. “Coaching centres must teach students the differentiation between negative and positive thoughts. Then only, young minds will work like muscles,” said Sharan.
