Clearing all the apprehensions of general public when it comes to manage the solid waste in the Capital city, Essel Infra has cleared the long pending dues of all the workers after the instructions received by civic body --RMC. The salary row that was raised up in the first week of June has been sort out by the officials of the solid waste management firm few days back.
“Two days ago, the company has cleared all the dues of the workers. Even the vehicle registration issue that was posing hurdle in collection of waste has been resolved. The company has so far done the registration of around 130 vehicles hired for collecting and segregating waste products. Approximately, 98 vehicles have been presently engaged in waste collection,” said GM Essel Infra (Ranchi Circle) Arun Singh.
In the wake of increasing demands of the workers and constant threatening to go on strike bringing into halt the sanitation service of few selected wards, the payment has been done to all the workers. Notably, few sanitation workers at Harmu mini transfer station had recently stopped the CM carcade and had pleaded to him to intervene into the due clearance issue. The CM had instructed the former Town Commissioner, Prashant Kumar to immediately mediate into the matter.
