A worker of Electro Steel Plant (ESl) met with an accident while working and died during treatment at Bokaro General Hospital. According to the police, Rakesh Kumar Choubey was 23 and died in an accident in ESl at Parbatpur in Telgharia under Banghari OP.
According to the eyewitnesses Rakesh was working in DE pipe a section, suddenly a pipe went down and he was crushed. “With the help of co-workers he rushed to BGH, where he died during treatment”, eyewitness added. later, after a talk with the kin of deceased, it was learnt that ESl has offered `8 lakhs compensation and employment to the next of kin.
