ESL Steel Limited, a Vedanta group company and a key national steel player, hosted a felicitation ceremony for newly elected Panchayati Raj Institution Members at the IMA Hall in Bokaro. The ceremony started with a warm welcome of PRI members at the Venue and they were invited on the stage to honour with shawls & mementos by ESL’s senior leaders.
Speaking on the occasion, CEO ESL, N.L. Vhatte congratulated all elected members, including Panchayat Samiti Pramukh, Up-Pramukh, and Zila Parishad Members from Chas and Chandankiyari blocks, as well as Mukhiya, Up-Mukhiya, and Panchayat Samiti Members from ten Panchayats in ESL operational areas. He also spoke on the community's development through ESL CSR's various interventions, how the CSR team is developing skills among the youths and providing employment opportunities to the community, and he also ensures that the company will provide all possible support to the community in the future. He also mentioned that for the development of the community we must work mutually for societal growth. Also, ESL CFO, Anand Dubey conveyed his gratitude to all the representatives for their active participation in the event and he reassured them of the company’s guidance and support through CSR which will help in the overall development of the area.
At the event, the CEO of ESL NL Vhatte, along with Anand Dubey, CFO, Sanjay Sinha, DGM, ER & PR, and Ashish Ranjan, Head CSR, ER & PR, expressed their opinions on the general development of the community. Other PRI members who spoke at the event included Nivaran Singh Chaudhary , Sheetal Kr Singh, Rafik Aalam Ansari, Nitesh Shekhar.
