Taking action against the lethargic attitude of RMC, Empower Jharkhand (EJ) along with NSUI started Halla Bol Campaign to maintain the cleanliness and sanitation within the city. Around 20 days back, a team of both the organisations headed by EJ president Aditya Vikram Jaiswal urged RMC Deputy Town Commissioner to ensure regular cleanliness. But, no positive step was taken.
The campaign started with a musical band. Even the members of lions Club of Ranchi Kings came forward. Jaiswal said the moment the members reached RMC, the entrance gate was locked and Town Commissioner Prashant Kumar escorted by security personnel went out. Jaiswal again knocked the doors of RMC Town Commissioner and handed over the list of five demands.
