Rallies, roadshows, meetings with door-to-door campaign are intensified across the constituencies of Bokaro and Dhanbad. Candidates, who are in poll fray, are on their rigorous effort to woo voters as hardly 36 hours remaining to close political campaign in these Assembly constituencies.
Several prominent political figures including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Rajnath Singh, Amit Sah, and other party star visited constituencies to garner support for BJP candidates for their respective constituencies. Along with BJP, Congress and JMM candidates and their supporters are also on their precise efforts.
Modi waves changed the polity, most of the regional as well as small parties are about to lose their grounds. Only BJP, JMM and Congress candidates are in real race on most of the seats. The constituencies under Bokaro district are expected to witness bi-polar contest while constituencies under Dhanbad districts are have to witness triangular contest.
Dhanbad has about 112 coal mines with a total produce of 27.5 million tonnes and an annual income of ` 7000 million Rupees through coal business, according to the official sources.
