Not only nutritious, but the food at Anganwadi centres of Ranchi will now be appetising too. With this motive, city-based hotel Radisson Blu organised a workshop for 21 Anganwadi workers from Bariatu, Kokar and Khelgaon region on Monday, where they were instructed on how to make nourishing and tasty food with locally available ingredients.
“This was the first of the 13 batches of Anganwadi Sevikas that we will be training. The focus was on tutoring them in ways of preparing world-class food with local produce. They were also told about ways to maintain hygiene and cleanliness in kitchens at the ICDS centres,” said hotel’s HR Manager Madhulika Das.
Hotel’s head chef Ramchandra Oraon demonstrated various recipes to the gathered Sevikas during this workshop.
