The Doctors' Wives Association organised its General Body Meet at IMA Hall on Saturday on the theme of National Integration. It was an effort to celebrate the love and respect people share, despite the diversity of culture and language in the country.
The programme began with the National Anthem. Chairperson, DWA, Vinita Sharan and Co-Chairperson Jhooma Sarkar welcomed the members present on the occasion. Secretary of DWA, Madhu Gupta presented the plan for future charity work and thanked one and all for their enthusiastic participation. The organising committee comprising Anju Singh, Pallavi Sharan, Suman Barnwal, Debosmita Basu, Dr Rashmi Kumari, Neelum Shekhar, Shweta Survi, Rokhsana Bano, Usha Pandey, Shivani Sahu, Kumud Mohan, Sanchita Mukherjee and Shweta Ranjan dressed in the attire of different states were introduced by the anchor.
Mesmerising dances were performed on national integration. Housie and some musical games were also organised for fun on the occasion.
