DVC will distribute 15 lakh plantlets on August 31 in the cover areas of its power plants. It was stated by Sanjay Singh, general secretary of Hazaribagh DVC Officers’ Association. These plantlets have been prepared by soil conservation wing of Hazaribagh DVC.
Singh informed that from here Koderma Power Plant will get 2 lakh plantlets, Tillaiya 1.25 lakh, Konar Dam 1lakh, Durgapur 50000, PTPS 1 lakh, Chandrapura 2.5 lakh, Raghunathpur 2 lakh and Maithon 50000 palntlets. He also informed that very soon the total power generation capacity of DVC will go up to 35,020 megawatt.
