Witchcraft is not the factor behind the murder of a 60-year-old tribal identified as laldev Oraon said DSP Prabhat Ranjan Barwar.
Police officer said this tribal was murdered on Sunday. However, his body was found on Tuesday in a water body. The tribal hailed from Pipra Sakaldeepa village under Hotai panchayat in Palamu.
lalit Kumar, the OC, Panki police station said a land dispute is the reason behind this killing. Kumar quoted Oraon's wife, who denied this murder to be related to witchcraft.
