Divisional Railway Manager Jasmeet Singh Bindra rewarded three employees for their outstanding work during the month by giving them Employee of the Month merit certificate and cash prize.
S.N. Sharma, Loco Pilot (Goods) Hatia, on 18/10/2023 heard some unusual sound from washing line number 3 of Hatia yard, from where empty rake of train number 18631 Express was being shunted and he found that an iron skid was rubbing under the wheel of the train. He immediately signaled to stop and the train was stopped and the skid was removed. Due to the alertness of the loco pilot, an accident could be averted in Hatia yard.
D.S. Munda, Loco Pilot (Goods) Hatia, was working in train number N/FSTP on 09/12/2023. While checking the under gear at Bano station, he saw that there was some problem in the engine. He immediately informed about it for necessary action. The fault found in the engine by CLI and maintenance staff was temporarily repaired and the engine was allowed to go till Hatia. Due to the alertness and prudence of Munda, an accident could be avoided.
Ranvijay Kumar, Train Manager (Goods), Hatia, was working in train number E/NPGA on 21/01/2024. While the train was entering Balsiring station, Shri Ranvijay heard an unusual sound, he stopped the train and during inspection, he found the line broken between mast numbers 1036 to 1038 under Balsiring station, which was very dangerous from the security point of view. He informed the station master Balsiring about this. Ranvijay's alertness and vigilance averted a major accident.
For the vigilance and commendable work of all the three employees, Divisional Railway Manager Jasmeet Singh Bindra awarded them Employee of the Month award and cash prize for the months of October 2023, December 2023 and January 2024 respectively.
On this occasion, Additional Divisional Railway Manager Manish Kumar, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager cum Chief Public Relations Officer Nishant Kumar, Senior Divisional Personnel Officer Raja and other officers were present.
