A special drive to include names of women and youths in the electoral rolls in Bokaro constituency has been started. Admitting the declining ratio of women to men in Bokaro, a special drive is orgaised till 1 October, said Prashant Kumar DC Bokaro.
Admitting about 82 points gender gap in the electoral list Kumar said names of left-out women voters will be added. Booth level officers (BlOs) have been trained and they will visit door-to-door to. Besides BlOs, Mukhiya, Anganwadi sevikas and sahayikas have also been trained to assist.
Voters whose names have not been included or want to make corrections in existing EPICs can fill the Forms (8 or 6) from any PDS shops, BlOs, Mukhiya, Anganwadi sevikas and sahayikas, he said.
