In a joint combing operation by Seraikela-Kharsawan district police and 196 battalion of CRPF, wanted Maoist, lakhinder Patar, was nabbed from Bada Bandi village in Kuchai block of Seraikela-Kharsawan district on Wednesday morning.
Seraikela-Kharsawan SP, Chandan Kumar Sinha, said that acting on a tip-off, the joint combing operation was carried in the forest area of Bada Bandi village. The police said that it is great achievement for them.
The team managed to nab the youth who identified himself as the Maoist who is known to be close to dreaded maoist and zonal commander of CPI-Maoist Maharaj Pramanik.
He was wanted in connection with several murder and loot cases.
