Delhi Public School ( DPS) is to come to Palamu’s Chainpur block. Barely 10 kilometers away from Daltonganj at Magardaha close to State highway, this school is coming up which is set to start its session in the coming March.

Zonal director DPS Shoaib Ahmad Khan said, “There were questions as to how the DPS will be any different from other run of the mill schools to which I told the people here that DPS the very name spells quality and confidence of the students and their guardians.”

Khan further said, "DPS name is enough but this does not make us any complacent. Our team of dedicated teachers strive hard to achieve excellence and do all hard labour to retain it as well no matter what the oddities and challenges are.”

About fee structure of this school there were volley of questions on which Khan said, “I told the august gathering of people here that all of you are in shirts and trousers. But the price and brand of it are different. Every school does impart education but the quantum of quality goes differing from each other.”

The DPS school is being set up here by Mumtaz Ahmad Khan& brothers of the Gurha village.

Mumtaz said, “ We have with us experience and expertise of all such people coming across the society and in the field of education that there would be no dearth of talented team of people to steer clear this DPS here.”

“I believe Palamu has honoured us to have this school and not the Mumtaz Ahmad Khan & Co honouring Palamu” added Khan. It was cheered by a huge gathering.

The school management has opened its city office in Daltonganj.

The management held a grand gala show of announcement of DPS starting here in a few months time was held in a posh hotel on NH 75 where more than 600 people attended the announcement show.
