With the motto to spread communal harmony and national integration, DPS, Bokaro observed Communal Harmony Week. It was observed under the guidelines of National Foundation for Communal Harmony, Ministry of Home Affairs, and Government of India.
Students donated generously during the week for the noble cause of assisting children rendered orphan or destitute in communal, caste, ethnic or terrorist violence.
Students worn flag stickers during this week and posters were put up to spread the message for the same. Dr Hemlata S Mohan, Director and Principal of the school stressed on the need of promoting communal harmony in the country. She added that the youth in country need awakening and joint efforts by enlightened people of all communities. Harmony is good for all and conflict is harmful to everybody.
