DPS Bokaro began a new journey on Saturday as the school entered into its Pearl Jubilee Year. A special celebration was observed to celebrate the Foundation Day on this eve. A special assembly was organsied where Dr Hemlata S Mohan, Director and Principal, of the school released balloons and expressed her happiness and pride to be associated with the school since inception.
Around 800 students were awarded with Proficiency in Regularity Award by Dr MS Tyagi the founder Principal of Delhi Public School, Bokaro. He also felicitated 151 awardees for achieving 10 CGPA in AISSE 2016. The School’s news-zine, DPS Bokaro Herald (Volume I - Issue 1) the quarterly scroll of achievements was also released by Dr Tyagi.
In the Primary Wing, School’s Annual Magazine, Chrysalis - The Formation’ was released. “DPS Bokaro has been a major boost in the education sector in Bokaro which has made all other schools to progress”, said Dr Tyagi. He encouraged the students to always excel and achieve greater heights in whatever career they choose.
The gathering was later addressed by Dr Hemlata. “The entire journey has been with the vision to create an enlightened community in the quest of wide knowledge, keen intellect, deep tranquillity and peace,” she said.
