Proving their mettle, students of Delhi Public School, Bokaro topped in all the categories of the chemistry symposium organised by and hosted at DPS Dhanbad on Friday.
As the school (DPS Bokaro) team emerged overall winners and brought home the ‘Best School Trophy’ award while the host team (DPS Dhanbad) was the Runner Up. All together 15 teams, each comprising seven participants, were participated in the symposium, school authority informed.
Priyanka Gupta and Sahil Verma with Abhinash kumar won the first position in the chemistry Extempore and chemistry quiz respectively. Chitwan Saharia and Anupriya performed impressively in the category-Mystery of chemistry and Prajwal Pratik with Aamol lohani expressed their outstanding talents in Chemistry Canvas. Each and every student was awarded an individual trophy. The team was guided and escorted by chemistry teachers Manisha Sharma and Rita Pandey.
Dr Hemlata S Mohan, Director and Principal said, “Successful learning means honing a variety of success-oriented attributes like awareness, confidence and courage with the traits of curiosity and ingenuity heading the list. It is these traits that mark the spark in a genius who benefits mankind with his inventions and discoveries.”
