As per the 14th annual EducationWorld India School Rankings (EWISR) 2020-21 (part 1) results of the survey conducted by C- Fore, DPS, Ranchi has been declared as the top co-ed school of Jharkhand. The results of the survey were declared on November 10.

For the survey a sample respondents database of 11,368  SEC (socio- economic category) ‘A’ parents, educationists, principals, teachers and senior school students in 28 cities and education hubs across India were interviewed to rate the country’s top 2,000 schools on 14 parameters of education excellence.

The 14 parameters on which schools have been ranked included academic reputation, competence of faculty, individual attention to students, leadership or management quality and co- curricular education amongst others.

“We believe the comprehensive EWISR tables will enable parents to choose the most suitable day schools for their children and also provide institutional management insights into ways and means to continuously raise teaching learning- standards for the greater good of the community and country,” said Dilip Thakore, Founder- editor of EducationWorld.

In addition to private school, India’s government day and residential schools were also rated and ranked. To rate the best government and private budget schools, parents in SEC ‘B’ ‘C’, and ‘D’ categories were also interviewed.
