ICAR DG, Dr Trilochan Mohapatra while briefing the press on Saturday said that achieving the goal of doubling farmers’ income by 2022 as per the vision of PM Narendra Modi is possible if proper market leakage, irrigation facilities and value chain is developed in a uniform way. “Strategic documents have been issued to the State government as what steps must be taken up for doubling farmers’ income. All required assistance is being provided to the State Government,” Dr Mohapatra added.
