Doctors of Government Hospital continued their strike on 2nd day demanding enhancement of on-duty security for them and arrest of accused persons who recently assaulted a doctor.
The doctors went on strike on Wednesday after a doctor was allegedly manhandled by the attendants of a patient of the Sadar hospital. An FIR has also been filed at the Garhwa police station in this connection.About one dozen doctor of Sadar hospital Garhwa are on strike from Wednesday. Today rural doctors also joined the strike. The IMA secratery, Sushant Singh said that the strike will be continue till the accused persons were arrested.
Acccording to Civil Surgeon Dr. N K Rajak, "Emergency services have not been affected.”
