Doctors' Day was celebrated with complete devotion today at Chinmaya Vidyalaya Bokaro. The day is celebrated every year as the birthday of a renowned doctor, social worker, freedom fighter, and first Chief Minister of West Bengal Dr. Bidhan Chand Roy.

Famous doctors of Chas Bokaro and Jharkhand were cordially invited on this occasion. All the respected doctors were honored by providing Tilak, Mishri and flowers in the morning prayer meeting.

Welcoming all the respected doctors, he said that on this earth, doctors are the human form of humanity, sacrifice and God, who are always ready to serve us by forgetting their happiness and sorrow. Protecting our lives and keeping us disease-free is considered as our religion. This was proved during the great tragedy of the Corona pandemic.

For many months, without getting tired, without stopping, hungry, thirsty, without sleeping, leaving home, family, and children without caring about their lives, they kept busy saving the existence of human beings. Thousands of doctors even gave their lives to stop this epidemic. It is impossible to sum up in words the invaluable contribution made by doctors for the protection of human life and humanity.

Addressing the students and teachers on the occasion, Dr. Bibhuti Bhushan Karunamayi, Chief Medical Officer, Bokaro General Hospital and Dr. Prabhat, Additional Chief Medical Officer, Bokaro General Hospital said, “human life is most precious; protecting it is the first and last religion.”

Besides others, Dr. Manak Lal Chordia, Satish Kumar, Dr. Anil Agarwal, Dr. Irfan Ansari, Dr. Bibhor Sharma, Dr. Sujit Kumar Perera, Dr. Anju Perera, Dr. Abhay Kumar Sinha, Dr. Manisha, Dr. Pankaj Kumar, Dr. Niket Choudhary, Dr. Annu Kumari, and Dr. Amit Jha were present on the occasion.
