Making a strategic change on key administrative posts, the State Government transferred and posted 23 IAS officers on Wednesday allotting the significant post of Development Commissioner to 1986 batch IAS officer DK Tiwari, who was holding the charge of Additional Chief Secretary, Water Resources Department. He has been given additional charge of Principal Resident Commissioner, Jharkhand Bhawan, New Delhi.
The government also transferred Additional CS, Urban Development and Housing Department Arun Kumar Singh to the post of Additional CS, Water resources department, while Additional CS Forest, Environment and Climate Change department Indu Shekhar Chaturvedi has been made Member, Revenue Board of the State. He has been given additional charge of the Forest, Environment and Climate Change department.
In another significant change, Secretary of Higher, Technical and Skill Development department Ajoy Kumar Singh has been made Secretary of Urban Development and Housing department. Similarly, Welfare department Secretary Himani Pandey has been given additional charge of Secretary, the Department of Industries.
Director of State Urban Development Agency Rajesh Kumar Sharma has been made Secretary of Higher, Technical and Skill Development department. He has been given additional charge of the Director of SUDA. Commissioner of Mines and MD of JSMDC Abu Bakr Siddiqui has been made Secretary of Mines and Geology department. He will be holding additional charge of Mines Commissioner and MD of JSMDC. Deputy Development Commissioner, Chatra Jishan Kamar has been made the new Director, Mines.

Member, State Finance Commission Alok Goyal has been made OSD, Jharkhand Bhawan, New Delhi, while Divisional Commissioner Palamu, Rajeev Arun Ekka has been made the Secretary of labour, Employment and Training department.
Managing Director, Jharkhand State Housing Board Brajmohan Kumar has been transferred and posted as Administrator, Subarnarekha Multipurpose Project, Jamshedpur. He will hold additional charge of the MD of Housing Board. Special Secretary Energy Department, Surendra Kumar has been made Examination Controller of Jharkhand Combined Entrance Examination Council. He will hold additional charge of Secretary, Revenue Board and Special Secretary of Energy Department.
Special Secretary, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Cooperative department Shubra Verma has been made Mission Director of Jharkhand AIDS Control Society. She will hold the additional charge of Special Secretary, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Cooperative department. Special Secretary, Home, Prisons and Disaster Management Department Bhagwan Das has been made Commissioner Civil Defence. He will hold additional charge of Special Secretary, Home, Prisons and Disaster Management Department.
DC, Gumla, Shrawan Kumar Soy has been transferred has Registrar, Cooperative Committees. He will hold additional charge of Administrator, Jharkhand State Cooperative Bank limited. Director, Secondary Education, Vipra Bhal has been made labour Commissioner of the State. She will hold additional charge of Additional Secretary Home, Prisons and Disaster Management department.
DDC, Seraikela-Kharsawan, Akansha Ranjan has been made the new Director, Primary Education.
