BJP’s State spokesman Praveen Prabhakar on Friday claimed that JMM supremo Shibu Soren is familiar with the deceitful methods of the Congress party adding that is why he has often cautioned his party leaders to be wary of it.
The BJP leader statement came days after Soren stated that JMM should not go for an alliance with the congress party in the coming Parliamentary and the state elections.
“The agony Shibu Soren faced while in alliance with the congress party in the past often surfaces in his speeches,” Prabhakar said. He added the JMM leader has experienced the negative attitude of congress and other opposition parties very closely.
Prabhakar claimed that JMM working president Hemant Soren was supporting an opposition alliance despite being humiliated by the congress party in the recent past. “Recently Rahul Gandhi met JVM (Prajatantrik) supremo Babulal Marandi and Geeta Koda in Delhi but did not have time for Hemant Soren.
“Hemant wants to come back in power at any cost,” he said.
He mentioned that it was not the first time that the JMM supremo has cautioned his son Hemant to be cautious of the congress party. The JMM could even break into two groups if Hemant insists on an alliance with the congress.
“The opposition parties are pulling apart even before the Mahagathbandhan visualised by them could materialize,” he said.
The BJP spokesman opined the JMM supremo has lost his battles both within and outside his party. “Even though he spent entire life building the JMM, Shibu Soren lost from assembly seat while he was CM of the state. He may also remember the days when neither his son nor the daughter-in-law was ready to vacate a seat for him assembly elections,” he stated.
